Facial skin rejuvenation methods

Methods of facial skin rejuvenation are well studied, but like everything else in cosmetology, a thoughtful individual approach is required that prevents the development of complications as much as possible.

Skin regeneration processes after peelings and other harmful procedures have been well studied since they first appeared on the cosmetic market.

But it is also known that under any conditions, every minute, the skin can restore itself thanks to the regeneration processes taking place in it. Modern cosmetology can also influence this process with new active means and procedures.

The main purpose of physiological skin regeneration methods is to make its regeneration process more active and direct it in the right direction to achieve the effect of young and radiant skin.

Cosmetology for skin rejuvenation

Facial skin rejuvenation methods - what modern cosmetology offers us

  1. Mesotherapy- injection of active substances into the skin through a series of superficial injections. The effect of mesotherapy is explained by the specific effect of the applied drug, the reaction of the skin to the injection (even though it is small, it is damaged! ) and the reaction of the whole body to the stimulation of active points on the skin of the face. - similar to acupuncture.
  2. Biorevitalization- This is also mesotherapy, but hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin. Once in the dermis, it begins to break down into small pieces under the influence of enzymes and oxidation processes. Skin cells - fibroblasts - begin to perceive these fragments as a signal that their own hyaluronic acid or collagen fibers are destroyed and begin to actively synthesize new fibers and hyaluronic acid.
  3. Plasmolifting- a method based on the ability of platelets and stem cells in blood plasma to stimulate wound healing processes. Platelet-rich plasma (abbreviated as PRP) is used in cosmetology, which contains biologically active substances in an optimal ratio. The method is completely safe, a very good result is obtained by combining the methods of laser skin renewal or peeling with plasma lifting, because the healing of tissues after an injury is most strongly stimulated, not only the rejuvenation of skin cells.
  4. SPRS therapy- intradermal transplantation of own skin fibroblasts. A small piece of skin (diameter 3-5 mm) is taken from behind the patient's ears, and a cell preparation containing the dermis' own fibroblasts is taken in special laboratory conditions. This medicine is then injected into the client's skin. As a result of the procedure, the synthesis of the dermis' own collagen fibers is strengthened, the skin becomes almost twice as thick and elastic within six months, the number and depth of wrinkles decrease, the color of the skin improves, and the oval shape of the face is obtained. reinforced. Usually 2 procedures with an interval of one month are enough, after the course of procedures the effect increases during the year.
  5. Photorejuvenation— laser is also used here, but it has no harmful effect on the skin. When tissues are heated, only the pigments are damaged, not the entire dermis. The pigments are melanin and hemoglobin. In addition, laser irradiation of the skin stimulates metabolism, which leads to a rejuvenating effect. The procedure is safe, recovery time is minimal. Disadvantages include a long course of procedures, the obtained effect is short-term. Therefore, this method is only good for young and aging skin.
  6. The use of cosmetics with a clear stimulating effect. These are products that occupy an intermediate position between cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. These include retinoids and peptides (proteins). Retinoids affect all skin cells, causing them to divide and move to other layers of the skin. Unlike other types of chemical peels, retinoids do not damage the upper layers of epidermal cells, but instead cause new cells to move in and displace old ones. The peptides are synthetically derived, their action mimics the action of the skin's own peptides. When a large number of protein fragments penetrate into the dermis, fibroblasts perceive this as a signal of skin damage and start collagen regeneration processes.

Which method of skin rejuvenation to choose - restoration after damage or recovery - is decided by a cosmetologist after assessing the condition of the skin and its regenerative abilities.

Skin damage methods are quick and effective, but more dangerous due to complications. The method of physiological skin regeneration is long-term, the result is very low, but there are practically no complications.

This method is also good for preventing skin aging and restoring it after damaged procedures.

The main thing is not to rush, thoroughly prepare the skin and follow all safety measures during the recovery period after aggressive procedures.

It is always important to keep in mind that it takes at least a month for the epidermis to regenerate and about 6 weeks for the dermis to regenerate. After physiological skin regeneration procedures, there is no need to wait for results too soon, there is no need to further stimulate this process.

Fear and impatience are bad choices here.
